First blog post in a long time! As you can see, I've gotten married since then so this blog needed a new purpose. Crafting and Artifying the world are some of my favorite things to do, so I thought I could re-purpose this blog for that!
Anywho...(mind goes blank)...what do I write about on here? I tend to be a person very afraid of rejection and negative comments (insecure much?) and to me blogging can be a very personal thing. So, please don't hate me!! Wow, probably not the best way to start out a blog, oh well.
In other news, I got bangs!! Cute, blunt ones and I actually love them tons! Now I can wear headbands and look cute when I put my hair back in ponies! YAY!! I just needed something new. Life was getting boring. And by life I mean work and school. They both tend to consume my life muchisimo.
If I could, I would quit and be a stay at home mom to my two pups...wait, scratch that, this weekend alone with them made me bonkers. If I could I would own my own business (probably out of my house, so I'd still end up being home with the little monsters). So that's why I'll give this crafting thing a try. I love sewing and am currently trying to create a line that emulates me and my style...or at the very least just create purses and sell them as I finish them. Perhaps a more defined styled will emerge as I progress. I just don't want my shop (when it eventually exists) to look like a hot mess of incongruency (I like big words, however I'm not sure that one is real...quick pause for a dictionary check...yup, totally exists!).
Well, we'll keep these short. That's all for now. I know it's not much, but I promise to be more interesting as I go. I think I'll stop by later this week (or weekend, like I said, bombarded with school and work) and post a tutorial on how to make zipper flowers and then turn them into fabulous necklaces and other decor!
